A bunch of movie releases are lined up for the months to come, and well, makers always try to get a solo release date as often as possible. And now, after Yash’s Toxic has been postponed, it looks like the makers of Hai Jawani To Ishq Hona Hai, have moved to the original release date.
Here’s all about it.
Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai moves to the original release dateStarring Varun Dhawan, Mrunal Thakur and Pooja Hegde in the leading roles, Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai will not be releasing on June 5, which was the film’s original release date. The movie was moved to a May 22 release briefly, when the makers of Toxic announced that their film had been postponed amid the UAE crisis, but it looks like they’ve reclaimed their OG release date, and the new poster with the new date has also been doing the rounds already.

The film’s first look teaser also grabbed headlines due to the involvement of AI kids, and while the audience reaction was quite fun, director David Dhawan did go on to clarify that there’s no AI in the final film.
"There is no AI in the film," Dhawan said, while also adding, "The point of a teaser is to do something different. We tried out the technology and thought it was presentable. The subject and story of the film has nothing to do with it. It was just a teaser."
Meanwhile, Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai is described as a ‘Double trouble love story’, and will also mark David’s 46th directorial project. The father-son duo has worked together on three other films, including Main Tera Hero, Judwaa 2 and Coolie No.1.
Produced by Tips Films Ltd and co-produced by Maximillian Films (UK), the film’s cast also includes Maniesh Paul, Jimmy Sheirgill, Chunky Pandey, Rakesh Bedi, Mouni Roy and Rajesh Kumar, among others.
