UP Assistant Professor Recruitment: The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission has once again initiated the recruitment process for Assistant Professor positions in the B.Ed. discipline by issuing Revised Advertisement No. 51. Under this new notification released by the Commission, a total of 107 vacancies are to be filled.

For interested candidates, the deadline for submitting applications has been set for May 27, while the facility to make corrections to the application form will remain available until May 30. The Commission has also clarified that the written examination for this recruitment drive will be conducted on July 28, 2026.

Who is Eligible to Apply?
Only those candidates who had fulfilled the prescribed educational qualifications—in accordance with the NCTE Regulations-2014—by August 31, 2022, are eligible to apply for this recruitment. In other words, only those candidates who have acquired the necessary degrees and qualifications within the stipulated timeframe will be able to apply.

Candidates Who Must Reapply
A significant point to note is that candidates who had previously applied for this recruitment are also required to submit a fresh application. However, such candidates will not be required to pay the application fee again. For their convenience, the Commission has sent their previous application numbers via SMS and email to enable them to complete the re-application process with ease.

This Recruitment Has Been Advertised Previously
It is noteworthy that this recruitment drive had been advertised twice before this; however, it had to be cancelled due to disputes regarding eligibility criteria and subsequent judicial intervention. Now, having finalized the new eligibility conditions, the Commission has once again invited applications.

According to Dr. Sanjay Kumar Singh, Deputy Secretary of the Commission, the online application process has commenced. Candidates are advised to carefully read the detailed advertisement available on the official website before applying to ensure that no errors occur during the process.
