Exit polls of 5 election states (West Bengal, Assam, Tamil Nadu, Keralam, Puducherry) came yesterday. Most of the estimates suggest BJP's victory in West Bengal and Assam, while DMK+ in Tamil Nadu, LDF in Kerala and BJP in Puducherry can form a coalition government. Senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh has raised questions on these estimates. He said that exit polls are a racket. The right to vote is now at stake. Along with this, he also targeted the Chief Election Commissioner.

Jairam Ramesh said, the Election Commission is not impartial in this election. The Commission has never been as biased as it was during the time of Gyanesh Kumar. He is even more biased than the previous Kumar. This decline had started during his previous tenure as chief. This man is a player. Along with fighting the elections, we were also fighting the Election Commission. Nine charges have been leveled against him in our impeachment motion presented in Parliament.

We will give them the removal notice again

He said, even if the impeachment motion against the Chief Election Commissioner is again rejected, we will again give notice of his removal. Now the time has come that the right to vote should be made a fundamental right. Voting is a statutory right of citizens. The family of Nandlal Bose, who contributed in drafting the Constitution of India, is also not included in the voter list.

Now the right to vote is in danger

Jairam Ramesh said, genuine Indian citizens are being deprived of the right to vote. This shows how all this has happened. What were the 3 'D's of Amit Shah - Detect, Delete and Deport. How many (non-Indians) have you detected, how many have you removed and how many have you deported? The right to vote is now in danger.
