New Delhi:Rajasthan Royals (RR) have won the toss and opted to bat first against Delhi Capitals (DC) in the IPL 2026 clash at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on May 1. RR have made two changes to their playing XI with Ravi Bishnoi replacing Yash Punja and Shubham Dubey coming in place of Dasun Shanaka.

DC also made three changes in their team, with Mitchell Starc replacing Dushmantha Chameera, and Ashutosh Sharma coming in place of the injured Sahil Parakh. Pathum Nissanka also replaced David Miller in DC’s playing XI.

Starc had missed the initial part of the tournament due to shoulder and elbow issues, which the pacer picked up during the Big Bash League (BBL), and has been working his way back to full fitness since then.

“Starc is playing and unfortunately Chameera isn’t playing. Sahil Parikh got injured and Pathum is playing in his place, that’ll be four overseas players which means David Miller sits out. Ashutosh Sharma is also there, so these are the three changes,” DC captain Axar Patel said at the toss.

RR are currently placed in the fourth position in the IPL 2026 points table with 12 points, while DC are in seventh position with 6 points. The Axar Patel-led side has lost three consecutive matches and recorded a low total of 75 against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB).
