Big success for Madhya Pradesh government in TET case, hearing on review petition fixed in Supreme Court on May 13, teachers hopeful of relief

Bhopal: The efforts being made by Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav in the interest of teachers have now started getting positive results. The continuous efforts made by the State Government to protect the cause of teachers have achieved a significant success. The Supreme Court has fixed the hearing on the review petition filed in the case to Teacher Eligibility Test (TET).

Accepting the applications, the Supreme Court has ordered to list this case for hearing in the open court. Teachers are expected to get great relief from this decision.

According to the court order, the hearing on the matter to TET has been scheduled on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at 2 pm. This hearing will be subject to the permission of the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. This decision will provide an opportunity to the teachers to present their side in detail and effectively. Besides, this will also pave the way for judicial reconsideration of the case.

Government committed to protecting the rights of teachers- Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has clearly said that the government is fully committed to securing the rights of teachers and their future. He expressed confidence that the state government will present its case before the court with concrete facts in this matter. The government is confident that the teachers will get justice on the basis of the evidence and facts presented in the court.

The government had filed a review petition on April 17.

For information, let us tell you that on April 17, the Madhya Pradesh government had filed a review petition against the decision of the Supreme Court, in which it has been made mandatory for teachers to pass the teacher eligibility test. After this, many employee organizations met Dr. Yadav at the Chief Minister’s residence and welcomed him for this step of the government.

During the meeting with the CM, the organizations had also given detailed information about the situations arising after the order of the Supreme Court. After this, Dr. Yadav assured everyone that the state government is committed to the welfare of teachers. Our government will ensure that no teacher is treated unfairly in the court process.
