NCERT's Free Courses on the SWAYAM Portal: The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has launched free online courses for students of Classes 11 and 12. These courses are available on the ‘SWAYAM’ (Study Webs of Active-Learning for Young Aspiring Minds) platform and cover a total of 11 subjects.

**21-Week Course Duration**
These courses include Accountancy, Biology, Chemistry, Economics, Geography, Physics, Mathematics, Psychology, Sociology, Business Studies, and English. The duration of each course has been set at 21 weeks, allowing students to develop a deep and comprehensive understanding of the subjects.

According to NCERT, these online courses enable students to study anytime and from anywhere. The courses feature video lectures, interactive content, discussion forums, and expert guidance. Furthermore, students can study at their own pace and convenience.

**Certificate Upon Course Completion**
Upon completing the course, students will be provided with self-assessment tests and quizzes to evaluate their preparation. A certificate will also be awarded to those who successfully pass the Final Assessment.

**Important Dates**
The deadline to apply for these courses is September 1. Registration for the assessment will take place between September 7 and 9, while the final examination will be conducted between September 10 and 15. The courses are scheduled to conclude on September 15.

Students must first register by visiting the website swayam.gov.in. Subsequently, they should click on the link for the relevant course to enroll. After completing all study materials, students must take the final assessment; upon passing, they will receive their certificate.
