The Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation Limited (GMRC) has announced a recruitment drive for the year 2026, offering a total of 383 job openings across various roles in the metro project. Candidates are required to have a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, Electronics, or Electronics & Communication Engineering from an accredited institution.

Junior Engineer (JE) - Electronics: A Diploma in Electronics or Electronics & Communication Engineering is required.

Maintainer (MNTR) - Fitter: Candidates must have completed the 10th grade (SSLC) and hold a 2-year ITI Certificate in the Fitter trade.

Maintainer (MNTR) - Electrical: Completion of the 10th grade (SSLC) and a 2-year ITI Certificate in the Electrician trade is required.

Maintainer (MNTR) - Electronics: Candidates should have passed the 10th grade (SSLC) and possess a 2-year ITI Certificate in the Electronics trade.

For the roles of Station Controller/Train Operator (SC/TO) and Junior Engineer (JE), candidates must be between 18 and 28 years old. For Maintainer (MNTR) positions, the age limit is set at a minimum of 18 years and a maximum of 25 years.

The application fee is payable online and is non-refundable. General male candidates must pay ₹600, while candidates from SC, ST, SEBC, EWS, as well as female and ex-servicemen applicants, are required to pay ₹300. Additional bank charges and taxes may apply.
