NCR RRTS Corridor: A major stride has been taken toward establishing modern and rapid transportation within the NCR, making commuting significantly easier than ever before. The Gurugram-Faridabad-Noida RRTS corridor—to be built at an estimated cost of approximately ₹15,000 crore—has been approved, bringing much-needed relief to lakhs of commuters across the NCR. This project will not only drastically reduce travel time but also significantly alleviate the problem of traffic congestion.

Once this corridor becomes operational, the journey from Gurugram to Noida will be completed in a mere 38 to 40 minutes. Currently, covering this distance entails a considerable amount of time and the hassle of navigating heavy traffic.

Gurugram-Faridabad Commute to Take Just 20 Minutes

Reaching Faridabad will become incredibly easy thanks to this new corridor. While the journey currently takes over an hour on this route, the same distance will now be covered in just 20 minutes.

‘Namo Bharat’ Trains to Offer Superfast Connectivity

The ‘Namo Bharat’ trains operating on this corridor will run at speeds of up to 180 kilometers per hour. With trains available at frequent intervals of every 5 to 7 minutes, passengers will no longer have to endure long wait times. This initiative will also help reduce the pressure on roads within Delhi and its surrounding areas.

64-Kilometer Corridor; 18 Modern Stations to be Constructed

The Gurugram-Faridabad-Noida RRTS corridor will span a total length of 64 kilometers, with 52 kilometers of the route falling within the state of Haryana. A total of 18 state-of-the-art stations will be built along this entire route, providing passengers with modern amenities and facilities.

This project is poised to do more than just simplify commuting; it will also serve as a catalyst for regional development. Improved connectivity is expected to boost employment, real estate, and business activities as well.
