Salman Khan and Raj & DK are gearing up to collaborate on a superhero film, which will be backed by Mythri Movie Makers. As Salman is all set to play a superhero on screen for the very first time, it looks like there’s now added buzz around Kareena Kapoor also joining the movie. If things work out, this will mark the duo’s fifth on-screen appearance with Salman.

Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor to reunite on-screen?After having worked in 4 films with Khan, including Bodyguard (2011), Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015), Kyon Ki... (2005) and Main Aurr Mrs Khanna (2009), it looks like fans are going to see the duo reunite on-screen, once again.
As per reports in Variety India, Kareena is, in fact, in advanced talks with the filmmakers to play the leading lady. However, the actress hasn’t signed the papers yet. The report revealed that she seemed enthusiastic about the role and had expressed verbal interest. In addition, it is being said that Khan personally reached out to the actress to give the discussions a nudge.

Meanwhile, Khan is currently gearing up for his next, Maatrubhumi, however, the movie seems to be struggling to finalise a release date, and has already experienced multiple delays so far. Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, the movie features Salman as an Indian Army Colonel leading his men against a bigger Chinese force.
Originally scheduled for a release on April 17, the movie has now been postponed, and a new date hasn’t been confirmed yet. The makers, meanwhile, claim that the movie is going to be a tale of courage, sacrifice, and resilience, while also balancing the intensity of conflict with the intimacy of love and family.
Apart from that, Salman also announced his next, an action drama directed by Vamshi Paidipally. Currently being called SVC63, the movie is slated for a release in Eid 2027, and when the actor confirmed the Eid release for the movie, interestingly, he also indirectly hinted at how he’s also waiting on the official release for his next, Maatrubhumi, and ever since, fans have been waiting for an announcement.
Kareena, meanwhile, is gearing up for Daayra, an investigative crime thriller, directed by Meghna Gulzar, also featuring Prithviraj Sukumaran.
