Indian Railways: The Kota Railway Division is embarking on a new initiative aimed at making passengers' journeys even easier, more convenient, and more enjoyable. Under this initiative, passengers will now be able to have their favorite meals delivered directly to their berths while seated inside the train. A special highlight of this service is the inclusion of Kota's famous *Kachori*, allowing passengers to savor the authentic local flavors.

As part of this new system being introduced by the Central Railway's Kota Division, special food kiosks are being established at Kota and Sawai Madhopur Junctions. The objective of these kiosks is to ensure the timely delivery of fresh food to passengers. Two kiosks are currently being constructed outside Platform Number 1 at Kota Junction, while two additional kiosks will be set up at Sawai Madhopur Station. These kiosks will not prepare the food on-site; instead, they will function as dedicated delivery points.

**Order Your Favorite Meals via Mobile App**

To avail of this facility, passengers simply need to order their preferred meals through a dedicated mobile app. Once an order is placed, it is transmitted directly to the kiosk located at the station. Subsequently, delivery personnel will bring the food right up to the train coach's door, where passengers can easily collect their orders. This eliminates the need for passengers to disembark and rush around the station in search of food, thereby saving them valuable time.

**Railways Partner with Multiple Companies for Food Delivery**

Until now, food delivery companies were not permitted to access railway platforms, making it difficult for passengers to receive their meals on time. Frequently, passengers were unable to procure food due to the trains' brief halts at stations. However, thanks to agreements recently signed by the Railways with various delivery service providers, this issue is expected to be resolved to a significant extent. This new system will ensure that passengers have access to timely, fresh, and hygienic food options.

**Launched as a Pilot Project**

This initiative by the Railway Division is currently being rolled out as a pilot project. Officials have stated that if the initiative receives a positive response from passengers, the service will subsequently be extended to other stations within the Kota Division as well. This will lead to improvements in railway services and make the journey even more comfortable for passengers.

Particular emphasis will be placed on the quality of food. The entire process will be conducted in strict accordance with the regulations of the Food Safety Department, ensuring that passengers receive safe and high-quality meals.
