Hyderabad, May 6:
Arshdeep Singh might be having an inconsistent run in this IPL, but Punjab Kings’ assistant coach Brad Haddin wants the “world-class” left-arm pacer to be at his very best for the “important games at the back end of the tournament.”
With 13 points, last year’s finalists Punjab Kings are leading the table even as their impressive campaign this year has been jarred by two consecutive defeats.
Haddin said Arshdeep, who has so far taken 10 wickets in nine matches, understands his role well.
“Arshdeep is world-class. You know in this tournament there’s going to be bad days with how explosive the batting has been right through,” Haddin told reporters.
Haddin also added Punjab are striving to have a perfect game.
