Tragic Accident Halts Production of Prabhas's Upcoming Film 'Fauji'

Actor Prabhas is currently in the spotlight due to his upcoming film 'Fauji'. Recently, a significant incident related to the movie has come to light. A production vehicle met with an accident early Tuesday morning near Abdulapurmet, on the outskirts of Hyderabad. This unfortunate event resulted in one person's death and left five others injured.


Circumstances of the Incident

The vehicle, carrying six members of the film's production team, was en route to Ramoji Film City for a scheduled shoot when the driver lost control, crashing into a cement divider. Tragically, one crew member died at the scene, while the other five sustained injuries of varying degrees. They have been admitted to a nearby private hospital for treatment.


Police Investigation

Local police arrived at the scene, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Choutuppal police station, and have initiated an investigation into the matter. Preliminary reports suggest that the driver may have lost control of the vehicle, but officials have yet to confirm the exact cause. The accident occurred on a busy stretch of the Hyderabad-Vijayawada highway, known for heavy traffic during morning hours.


Filming of 'Fauji' Suspended

According to reports, the identities of the deceased and injured have not been officially released yet. Following this incident, the filming of 'Fauji' has been put on hold. The production was taking place at Ramoji Film City, and the unit was heading there at the time of the accident.

The film 'Fauji' is set against the backdrop of the 1940s and revolves around the Azad Hind Fauj, led by Subhas Chandra Bose. Alongside Prabhas, the film features newcomer Emanvi, with Mithun Chakraborty, Jaya Prada, and Anupam Kher in supporting roles.
