Purnia MP Pappu Yadav is in the news these days for his outspoken statements. Recently, after the results of Bengal elections, questions started being raised from social media to the corridors regarding one of his old promises. In fact, before the elections, Pappu Yadav had said with great confidence that if BJP wins in Bengal, he will give up the struggle for service and justice. Now that the results are out, people are asking what will Pappu Yadav do about his promise?

Pappu Yadav reached Mahakal Darbar of Ujjain

After the results of Bengal elections, Pappu Yadav directly reached Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh. There he had darshan of Baba Mahakaleshwar and participated in Bhasma Aarti. Along with this, he also performed special prayers in the temple of Baglamukhi Mata. When journalists questioned him about his famous promise, Pappu Yadav clarified his position. Expressing disappointment over the results of Bengal elections, he alleged that the Election Commission itself was contesting the elections there and Sama-Dam-Dand-Bheda was used extensively.

Clarified on his promise: Will Pappu leave politics?

When journalists reminded him of the promise made on April 30, Pappu Yadav said that he had said that he would leave the service in the event of Mamata Banerjee’s defeat because he has been fighting for justice without any discrimination. He said emotionally that he can even give his kidney and heart for his people, but seeing the kind of cunningness that has increased in politics, he has to think. She clarified that what to do next will be decided not by her but by Mahakal and Mata Baglamukhi.

Advice to the opposition and appeal to save the country

Pappu Yadav also gave a big statement on the unity of the opposition. He said that at this time in the country, saving the nation is more important than the PM’s chair. Advising the Congress and other opposition parties to unite, he said that all the small parties are fighting with each other and the Congress, whereas everyone should be united. He said in strong words that now there is a need to keep politics aside and work on the policy of economics and humanity. According to him, the chair and politics should ‘go to hell’, the country should be saved first.
