Ram Charan His physical transformation for Ram Charan’s upcoming film ‘Peddi’ is very inspiring. Generally people know Ram Charan for his slim and fit body, but in this film he has to play the role of a wrestler. So he completely changed his body. The director of the film is Buchi Babu Sana. Ram Charan has worked very hard for this role. He adopted a strict routine and ate low-calorie food. When his bodybuilding expert and personal trainer Rakesh R Uddiyar was talked about, he gave a lot of information about Ram Charan’s diet and training.
Rakesh told in an interview with Time Now that during the preparation of the film, Ram Charan was allowed to eat a cheat meal only once during the weekend. Explaining the difference between cheat meal and cheat day, he said that the actor had the freedom to eat whatever he liked, but it was important to control the calorie intake. Giving an example, he said, ‘Suppose on Sunday, in the last meal of the day, they were allowed to eat whatever they wanted, but everything was prepared in a healthy manner.’ For example, if they wanted to eat a burger, their chef would prepare it in a special way. Instead of normal bread, multigrain bread made from almond flour was used. Good quality cheese was used for the burger patty. Rakesh said that if you are taking cheat meal then it should also be made tasty but healthy and under calorie control. The budget of the film is Rs 100 crore, so such small facilities could have been provided easily.
Ram Charan’s training was done in a very strict and planned manner. He used to keep intermittent fasting for 12 hours every day. After that the day started with cardio exercise. A special kind of carb cycling diet plan was made for him. In this, high carb days were alternated with low carb days, so that his body could get in the right shape. The training included weight training, in which chest, shoulder and triceps exercises were done. Along with this, he was also given wrestling training because he had to play the role of a wrestler in the film. A personal physiotherapist was also present with him on the set. These therapists came from the famous Apollo Hospital in Chennai. He used to relax Ram Charan’s muscles through myofascial release therapy.
Along with Ram Charan, there were also people from his staff who used to give him food at the right time from time to time. His nutritionist used to plan the meals for the whole day. For example, if he felt hungry in the morning and wanted to eat dosa, the trainer and nutritionist would sit together and decide which dosa to make. Mostly they used to give pesarattu made from moong dal. Rakesh had to count the calories of everything. The daily diet was kept between 1700 to 2200 calories.
This film is going to be released in theaters on June 4. Big actors like Shiv Rajkumar, Janhvi Kapoor, Divyendu Sharma and Jagapati Babu are also working in it. The film has been jointly produced by Venkat Satish Kilaru’s company Vriddhi Cinemas and Maithri Movie Makers. This film will be released in five languages: Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada. This transformation of Ram Charan shows that if one works with proper planning, hard work and discipline, great results can be achieved. His hard work is a good example for the youth.
