There has been a stir after the dead body was found in the house of former Sri Lankan cricketer and batsman who won the World Cup in 1996, Arvind de Silva. The name of the person whose dead body was found from Arvind de Silva's house is Kapila Chandrasena. The deceased was the CEO of Sri Lanka Airlines and was found unconscious in De Silva's house. When the checkup was done, Chandrasena was dead. Let us tell you that both Chandrasena and Arvind de Silva are close relatives. It is being told that Chandrasena has committed suicide by going to Arvind de Silva's house.
A bribery case was going on against Kapila Chandrasena. He was accused of corruption in a deal worth US$2.3 billion. It is being told that Chandrasena had taken 2 million dollars in bribe through a shell company. Colombo Chief Magistrate had issued an arrest warrant against him. After the issuance of this warrant, on May 7, Chandrasena reached Aravind de Silva's house and committed suicide there.
