TMC national president Mamata Banerjee has made a big announcement on the birth anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore. He has appealed to the opposition parties to unite against the Bharatiya Janata Party. Mamta Banerjee has alleged that the reign of terror has started in Bengal. Their moral and political fight against this has started. Mamta said that 'I also appeal to NGOs and other social organizations to join this movement.'
Mamata Banerjee alleged that she had sought permission to celebrate the birth anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore in front of Kalighat Mod, Muktdal and Fire Brigade Station. But he was not given permission for all three places. His question is why he was not given permission this time. After this he decided to celebrate the birth anniversary outside the party office. Mamta Banerjee says that this is complete dictatorship and an attempt to silence TMC. Mamta further said that she believes that those who are fearless, who truly love their motherland, will automatically unite.
TMC national president Mamata Banerjee has alleged that her workers are being subjected to atrocities in Bengal. He said that a 92-year-old woman from the Dalit community lives with him. But now they had to leave their home and seek shelter somewhere else. BJP has also threatened a newlywed bride of that family. They too have been evicted from the house. He alleged that hooliganism is taking place outside the houses of many other party workers and leaders and the police is completely silent.
Mamata Banerjee said that when she came to power in Bengal in 2011, she did not allow any violence to happen. No one was harassed or tortured. I had sent my own bulletproof car to the then outgoing Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharya to ensure his safety and security. Not only this, he was also given Z+ security. But as soon as BJP came to power, his security was immediately removed. Apart from this, many of their services have been stopped.
