New Delhi: Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) all-rounder Tim David has been fined 30 per cent of his match fees and handed two demerit points for his obscene gesture after his side’s 2-wicket win against Mumbai Indians (MI) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 on Sunday. RCB clinched a last-ball thriller against MI to move to the top of the IPL 2026 points table.

David had little impact on the game as RCB chased down the target of 167 runs on the final ball of the match to secure a thrilling win. The Australian batter was dismissed on a Golden Duck by Corbin Bosch. He appeared on the cameras, raising his middle fingers as RCB wrapped up the run chase at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur.
