Actually, after red carpet appearance during Cannes Film Festival, Alia reached the inauguration ceremony of India Pavilion. Here her look with Indian traditional touch became a topic of discussion. This beautiful combination of desi style and modern fashion impressed everyone.
For the inauguration ceremony of India Pavilion, Alia chose a sari gown couture designed by Indian designer Tarun Tahiliani. Dull gold embroidery was done on this ivory shade outfit, which made the whole look very classy.
There were light brown colored small bird prints on the lower part of the saree. It was paired with a corset style blouse, which had a plunging neckline and golden embroidery. This pastel tone outfit was giving a royal touch to Alia’s look.
The most special thing about this saree gown was its crisscross detailing near the waist, which further highlighted Alia’s slim waist. The fabric from the shoulder portion of the outfit was set in pallu-like pleats, giving it a traditional saree look.
