Millie Bobby Brown has opened up about her experience of adopting a daughter with husband Jake Bongiovi.

The Stranger Things star became a young mom when she adopted her daughter in 2025, months before the finale of her hit series came to an end in December.

The 22-year-old spoke to Extra saying “We’re all mothers, and no matter if we’re adoptive mothers, birth mothers – a maternal figure. Everybody should be celebrated.”

She added “Everybody is raising beautiful children, hopefully, and we’re raising the next generation. So, of course, women should be celebrated in every way, and every day.”

The duo has kept the name and face of their baby private. When they are spotted in public, the baby’s face is often hidden.

The actress has described her motherhood as “beautiful, amazing journey”.

Millie has previously hinted that she wants to have more children with her husband.

The couple tied the knot at Villa Cetinale, a luxurious 17th-century Baroque villa in Tuscany, Italy, in May 2024.
