Tezzbuzz Desk- Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel and Vodafone Idea have released their quarterly results for Q4FY26. It has become clear from these figures that the customers of which telecom company are spending the most mobile data and which company’s ARPU remains the strongest.
According to the report, Jio has left other companies behind in terms of data usage. Airtel still maintains the highest ARPU in the industry.
Reliance Jio customers used the most data. According to the company, the average monthly data usage of each customer was 42.3GB, which means about 1.41GB data was spent daily.
Jio’s ARPU has increased to Rs 214. The company reported that total data traffic on its network reached 66 billion GB.
According to Jio, by March 2026, the number of its 5G users will reach 268 million and the share of 5G in the total wireless traffic has reached about 55 percent.
The average monthly data usage of Bharti Airtel customers was 31.4GB, which means around 1.05GB data was used daily.
Although Airtel lagged behind Jio in data usage, the company remained at the forefront in terms of ARPU. Airtel’s ARPU was recorded at Rs 257, which is the highest in the industry.
The company recorded 27,985 million GB data traffic in the quarter. Airtel reported that it added 5.8 million new smartphone customers and 0.8 million new postpaid users during FY26.
The average monthly data usage of 4G and 5G customers of Vodafone Idea i.e. Vi was 20.2GB. That means users are using about 673MB of data daily.
The company’s blended ARPU increased to Rs 174. The total network data traffic was recorded at 7.8 billion GB.
Vi claimed that its customer ARPU has increased by 8.3 percent on an annual basis, which is considered to be the fastest growth in the industry. The total subscribers of the company were 192.8 million and from February 2026, the trend of addition of new customers has again become positive.
If we talk about data usage, Reliance Jio customers are using internet the most. Whereas in terms of earnings i.e. ARPU, Bharti Airtel has won. On the other hand, Vodafone Idea is now gradually busy strengthening its network and customer base.
