Not only the skin, but also apply sunscreen to the hair to avoid the ultraviolet rays of the sun! How?

Mid of May. In the intense heat of the sun, life is palpable. Many people regularly apply sunscreen on their hands and face to protect themselves from the heat. Don’t forget to take sunglasses and umbrellas! But have you ever thought about protecting your hair from the heat? Dermatologists say that not only the skin, but the UV rays of the sun are silently destroying the health of the hair every day. But that intense sunlight is responsible behind the black hair suddenly turning copper or looking rough like a broom in the sun. So now I want ‘SPF’ or sun protection factor for my hair.

In fact, our hair is made of a special protein called ‘keratin’. Exposure to sunlight loosens these protein bonds. As a result hair loses its natural flexibility. With a slight pull, it snaps and breaks. Not only that, the natural oil and moisture inside the hair evaporates like camphor in the heat of the sun. The result is what it is. A head of silky hair instantly becomes rough and dry like a straw. The biggest shock is the appearance. Sunlight destroys the natural melanin in the hair. As a result, Sadh’s black hair loses its color and turns copper. Especially those who have expensive color or highlights in their hair, the danger is double. It doesn’t take long for that color to fade in the sun.

So the way?

Morphologists say that only a small change in appearance can lead to trouble. There are three types of hair sunscreen available in the market – powder, spray and cream. Powder sunscreens are great for reducing oiliness and adding volume to hair. Spray sunscreen is very useful to restore moisture to rough hair. And for the scalp there is lotion or cream sunscreen.

Do these things to protect your hair from the sun

At least 20 minutes before going out, apply a leave-on conditioner with SPF or a light hair serum. Spread this UV-protection spray on your hair. It creates an invisible protective shield on the hair. Also, don’t forget to use an umbrella, light cotton scarf or hat in the hot sun. This physical barrier protects the hair from both dust and sun. And after returning home, apply a good hydrating hair mask on your hair at least once a week. No expensive cosmetics, kitchen curd-honey or a home pack of egg and olive oil works like magic to restore lost moisture to hair. So why delay, look into SPF for skin as well as hair from today.
