Lifestyle Desk- We all like ice cream during the summer season. But outside ice cream cannot be eaten every day. Therefore, you can make different flavors of ice cream at home in summer. Rose Gulkand Ice Cream is the perfect combination of coolness and sweetness in summer. Its fragrance, creamy texture and royal taste of Gulkand make it special. The good thing is that it can be prepared at home with very few ingredients and easy steps. Let us know its recipe.

Material

Full cream milk-2 cups
Fresh cream-1 cup
Gulkand-4 tbsp
Rose syrup-2 tbsp
Condensed milk-1/2 cup
Pistachios and almonds-10 chopped
Some dried rose petals (for garnish)

Method

  1. Put full cream milk in a pan and boil it on low flame till it thickens a little. Then let it cool completely.
  2. Add fresh cream and condensed milk to cold milk and beat it well, so that the mixture becomes smooth.
  3. Now add gulkand and rose syrup to it. This will give wonderful rose aroma and flavor to the ice cream.
  4. Add chopped pistachios and almonds and mix gently. Fill the mixture in an airtight container and keep it in the freezer for 7-8 hours. Taking out and stirring it 1-2 times in between will make the ice cream more creamy.
  5. When the ice cream is set, scoop it and serve it with dry rose petals and some gulkand on top.

tips

  1. You can also add some khoya for richer taste.
  2. If you like light sweetness, reduce the amount of condensed milk.
  3. You can also add tutti-frutti in it for children.
