CSBC Constable Operator Exam 2026: The Central Selection Board of Constable (CSBC), Bihar, has announced the dates for the Constable Operator Recruitment Examination 2026 and the written examination for Constable (General Duty – Closed Cadre). The recruitment examination will be conducted to fill 993 vacancies for the Operator post and 83 vacancies for the GD Closed Cadre.

According to the official notification, the Constable Operator recruitment examination for the 993 vacancies will be held on Sunday, June 21, 2026. Meanwhile, the written examination for Constable (General Duty – Closed Cadre) will be conducted on June 24.

**Note down the Exam Date and Time**

The examination will be conducted at various centers established across all 38 revenue districts of Bihar. For the candidates, the examination will be held in a single shift. As per the scheduled timing, the Constable Operator examination will commence at 12:00 PM (noon) and conclude at 2:00 PM. However, it is mandatory for candidates to reach the examination center between 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM, as no candidate will be granted entry into the center after 11:00 AM.

Conversely, the written examination for Constable (General Duty – Closed Cadre) will begin at 10:00 AM and conclude at 1:30 PM. Candidates are required to reach the center between 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM; no candidate will be granted entry into the center after 9:00 AM. The Board has clarified that the entry gates will be closed one hour prior to the commencement of the examination.

**Exam Center Details Available from the 8th; Admit Cards on June 15**

Keeping the convenience of candidates in mind, the CSBC has decided to make information regarding exam centers available in advance. Candidates for the Constable Operator post (starting June 8, 2026) and candidates for the Constable (General Duty - Closed Cadre) post (starting June 11) will be able to access information regarding the district where their exam center is located. This can be done by visiting the official website, csbc.bihar.gov.in, and using their registration number (or registered mobile number) along with their date of birth.

Meanwhile, the process for downloading admit cards will commence on June 15 and June 18, 2026. Constable Operator candidates will be able to download their e-admit cards right up until 11:00 AM on the day of the examination—that is, June 21. The Board has clarified that admit cards will not be sent to any candidate via postal mail.

What to Do If You Are Unable to Download Your Admit Card?
If a candidate is unable to download their admit card from the website due to a technical issue, a separate arrangement has been made for them. Such candidates may obtain a duplicate e-admit card by personally visiting the office of the Central Selection Board, located at Back Harding Road, Patna, on June 19, 2026, between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

For this purpose, candidates must carry their application receipt and a valid photo identity card with them. It is also mandatory to present a photo ID along with the e-admit card at the examination center. The Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, PAN Card, Passport, or Driving License will be accepted as valid forms of identification.
