Decoding Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s Cannes 2026 look

For her grand 2026 appearance, Aishwarya stepped out in a custom creation by Amit Aggarwal titled Luminara, featuring a sculptural couture ensemble inspired by the movement and energy of light. Dipped in a rich midnight blue shade with cosmic undertones, the gown featured a sharply structured silhouette that hugged her frame before dramatically expanding through wing-inspired shoulders.

What truly made the ensemble unforgettable, however, was the intricate crystal detailing spread across the gown. Crafted using Aggarwal’s signature Crystal Vein embroidery technique, the couture masterpiece reportedly took over 1,500 hours of handwork to complete. Thousands of shimmering crystal embellishments were meticulously arranged in vein-like patterns across the outfit, creating the illusion of illuminated pathways flowing through the body.
