When Will Work Begin?

The Aqua Line Metro extension—which has been under development for a considerable time—is expected to receive final approval by next month. The Metro Rail Corporation has been actively preparing for the Aqua Line extension, and recent reports indicate that the Public Investment Board has invited the NMRC management to deliver a presentation regarding the project. According to these reports, the project is likely to receive official clearance by next month, June. Construction work is expected to commence once these formalities are completed.
Which Routes Will Feature New Stations?
Preparations to extend the Metro network within Noida are proceeding at full speed. This Metro line will originate from Sector-51 and extend up to Kisan Chowk in Greater Noida West. Additionally, five new stations will be constructed along this 7.5-kilometer route, located at Sector-61, Sector-70, Sector-122, Sector-123, and Sector-4.
According to media reports, all essential preparatory work required to launch the Metro service is expected to be completed within the next three months. This development will significantly ease commuting for residents living in the areas served by the stations along this 7.5-kilometer route.
