Haryana ITI Admission 2026: There is great news for students in Haryana preparing to pursue technical and skill-based courses through ITIs. The Department of Skill Development and Industrial Training, Haryana, has announced the initiation of the Haryana ITI admission process for the academic session 2026-27. The online application process for admission into the state’s government and private Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) will commence on June 2, 2026. Interested candidates will be able to apply by visiting the official portal: admissions.itiharyana.gov.in.
According to the schedule released by the department, students will be able to submit their online applications until June 15. This time, admissions will be offered in both Engineering and Non-Engineering trades across hundreds of government and private ITI institutes throughout the state. A key highlight is that students who have passed the 8th, 10th, or 12th grades will be eligible to apply for various specific trades.
Admissions Available in Over 80 Trades
Under the Haryana ITI Admission 2026 initiative, admissions will be granted in more than 80 different trades across the state’s government and private institutions. According to reports, the admission process this time will be conducted across approximately 199 government and 186 private ITI institutes. These trades encompass courses related to technical skills and skill development, aimed at preparing students for employment opportunities. Seats will be available in both Engineering and Non-Engineering categories of trades.
Admissions Expected for Approximately 1 Lakh Seats
The department is currently making arrangements to facilitate admissions for approximately 1 lakh seats this time around. Seats in the state’s ITI institutes will be allotted to students based on merit. Meanwhile, in the Faridabad district, preparations for admissions to 2,180 seats across 9 government ITI institutes for the 2026-27 session have already been completed. The Department aims to increase the number of seats once again this year. Furthermore, only those students who have completed their 8th, 10th, or 12th-grade board examinations from a recognized board will be eligible to apply for Haryana ITI Admissions 2026. Specific eligibility criteria have been prescribed for different trades. Additionally, candidates must meet a minimum age requirement of 14 years; however, different conditions may apply to certain specialized trades.
How to Apply
The entire admission process for students must be completed through an online medium. To apply, candidates must first register on the official portal. Subsequently, they will need to fill out the application form and upload the required documents. After uploading the documents, candidates must select their preferred trade and institute. Finally, the application fee must be paid; once the application form is submitted, the process of document verification and seat allotment will commence. Upon registration, candidates will receive a Login ID and password, which they will use to complete the remainder of the application process. The application fee for admission to ITI has been determined based on the candidate’s category. For instance, the fee is set at ₹100 for the General category, ₹50 for the SC, ST, and EWS categories, while the application is free of cost for female candidates.
Required Documents
During the application process, students will be required to upload several essential documents. These include an Aadhaar Card, Parivar Pehchan Patra (Family ID), a passport-sized photograph, a mobile number, an email ID, and a scanned copy of their signature. Additionally, academic documents—such as the 8th, 10th, or 12th-grade mark sheets, School Leaving Certificate, Transfer Certificate, and Character Certificate—will also be mandatory. Students belonging to reserved categories must also upload their Caste Certificate, Income Certificate, and EWS Certificate. Furthermore, students falling under special categories may be required to submit specific certificates relevant to their category.
