The upward trend in fuel prices shows no signs of abating. On Tuesday—following the fourth hike in petrol and diesel prices in just 10 days on Monday—the cost of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) in New Delhi also saw its fourth increase in two weeks. CNG prices in Delhi rose by ₹2 per kilogram. The global energy market remains under pressure due to long-standing geopolitical tensions in the Middle East, a situation that continues to drive up fuel prices in India. Check the new CNG rates for your city below.

Petrol and Diesel Prices Also Rise
This latest hike comes just days after IGL increased CNG prices by ₹1 per kg on May 23. At that time, it marked the third price hike within a span of 10 days. Since the beginning of this month—when fuel price revisions resumed following a prolonged period of unchanged rates—prices for all three fuels—petrol, diesel, and CNG—have now witnessed a hike for the fourth time. These recurring price hikes are taking place amidst high global crude oil prices, concerns regarding supply disruptions around the Strait of Hormuz, and the persistent instability stemming from the ongoing conflict in West Asia.
