Before importing your World Cup calendar, make sure to unzip the downloaded files to extract the correct format for Google Calendar or iCal.
How to unzip files on Windows:
Find the zipped folder (it will have a .zip extension).
Right-click and choose Extract All...
Select your destination folder and click Extract.
How to unzip files on Mac:
Double-click the downloaded .zip file.
The contents will be automatically extracted into a new folder in the same location.
How to unzip files on Android:
Open the Files by Google app.
Go to where your downloaded .zip file is saved.
Tap the file icon to open a pop-up window.
Select Extract.
How to unzip files on iPhone/iPad:
Open the Files app (blue folder icon).
Navigate to the location of your zipped file (such as “Downloads” or “On My iPhone”).
Tap the zip file once, and a new folder containing the extracted files will appear.
If tapping doesn’t work, long-press the file and select Uncompress.
To import into Google Calendar:
Open Google Calendar in your browser.
Click the Settings gear icon in the top-right corner and choose Settings.
From the left-hand menu, click Import & Export.
Click Select file from your computer and pick your .ics or .csv file.
Under Add to calendar, choose the calendar where you want the World Cup fixtures to appear.
Click Import.
To import into Apple Calendar:
Open the Calendar app on your Mac or iOS device.
Click File and then Import.
Select your .ics or .ical file from your system.
Choose the calendar you want to add the fixtures to (or create a new one) and click Import.
