Ritu Jaiswal, expelled from RJD, has now joined BJP. On Tuesday (May 26, 2026) he took membership of BJP. In a program organized at Atal Auditorium of BJP office in Patna, Bihar BJP State President Sanjay Saraogi gave her (Ritu Jaiswal) the membership of the party. On this occasion, Ritu Jaiswal said that I am feeling proud to join BJP.

Ritu Jaiswal said, “Till now I was with one section and used to listen to one section. When I got a chance to contest the elections as an independent candidate, I was called a rebel. The reality is that every member of the Parihar assembly had become a rebel…”

Addressing the media on this occasion, Ritu Jaiswal herself told why she decided to join BJP. In this regard, he said, “The biggest thing is the national interest… The person, the party, which puts the nation first, the Prime Minister also talks about the nation, earlier it used to happen that if someone gets cancer and he does not have money, then he used to count the date of his death from that day to know when he will die… But ever since the Ayushman card has come… it has given strength. If a woman’s husband falls ill, then the woman feels that her husband can be saved because the Prime Minister has given the Ayushman card in her hand.”

Ritu Jaiswal did not stop here in praising PM Modi, she further said, “Till now I have been influenced by one stream… but when I was among the public and got votes from both the streams, I saw that everyone has the same problem… is it this stream and is it that stream… and if anyone is concerned about solving that problem, then it is Narendra Modi ji.”
