Lucknow. Lucknow’s BJP Mayor Sushma Kharkwal completes three years of her tenure today. It is being celebrated at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan located in Gomtinagar. The Chief Minister also participated in this program. During this, the Chief Minister inaugurated/laid the foundation stone of 342 public welfare projects worth Rs 413 crore under Lucknow Municipal Corporation. During this, he said that, I am happy that today all of us are joining the inauguration and foundation stone laying program of various projects of Municipal Corporation Lucknow costing ₹ 413 crore.
Lucknow Municipal Corporation ranks third in the country in cleanliness ranking, this in itself is a big achievement. Our aim is to reach the first place, but it is not only the responsibility of the mayor, councilors or sanitation workers, but also the responsibility of every citizen. Also said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said only one thing that there are only four castes in the country – poor, farmers, women and youth. Keeping these four at the center, we have taken our public welfare programs forward.
The Chief Minister said that in this era of energy crisis, it is our responsibility not to get misled by anyone and avoid rumours. Our effort should be to use only as much electricity as is required. This is our civic responsibility. The government will find a solution to every problem. The Chief Minister said that Ayushman Bharat Yojana has become the biggest support for poor and needy families. Under this scheme, settlement of claims should be ensured within stipulated time. He also directed to include AYUSH methods in the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay State Employees Cashless Scheme.
