Vaibhav Suryavanshi played an inning of 97 runs in just 29 balls against Hyderabad and he missed the century by just 3 runs. If Vaibhav had scored this century, it would have been the fastest century in IPL history which is in the name of Chris Gayle. Chris Gayle had scored a century in just 30 balls at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in the year 2013 and this record was about to be broken against Hyderabad but Suryavanshi was dodged by a short ball from Prafulla Hinge and he gave an easy catch to Smrana Ravichandran in the third man area.
