The Scottish Football Association has confirmed that head coach Steve Clarke has agreed to a new contract, ensuring he will continue at the helm of the national team.

Clarke, who previously managed Kilmarnock, was initially set to see his contract end after this summer's World Cup.

However, after successfully guiding Scotland to their first World Cup appearance since France 1998, he has been rewarded with a contract extension that runs until the summer of 2030.

Under his leadership, Scotland have already reached two European Championships, though they were eliminated in the group stages on both occasions.

This extension means Clarke will lead the Tartan Army into Euro 2028, which will be partly hosted on home soil, and potentially the 2030 World Cup, depending on qualification.
