To whom was Rabri Devi's bungalow allotted?
The matter heated up when the Bihar government on Friday served a notice to the RJD leader to vacate the government bungalow at 10 Circular Road. This bungalow has now been allotted to Bihar's Animal and Fisheries Resources Minister Nand Kishore Ram.
According to the government letter, Rabri Devi has already been allotted a second government residence as the leader of the opposition in the Bihar Legislative Council. But the notice states that he has not yet vacated the residence at 10 Circular Road.
The notice states that Rabri Devi was allotted a second floor house on Harding Road through a departmental order issued in November 2005. It further said that the bungalow at 10 Circular Road has now been given to Minister Nand Kishore Ram under a departmental notification.
The government has requested Rabri Devi to immediately vacate her Circular Road residence and shift to the residence reserved for her as the leader of the opposition in the Legislative Council.
What was written in the notice of Bihar government?
The notice reads, "It is informed that vide Departmental Office Order No. 122, dated 25.11.2025, Quarter No.-39, Harding Road, Patna, was earmarked for the Leader of Opposition, Bihar Legislative Council and allotted to Rabri Devi, Leader of Opposition, Bihar Legislative Council.
