A very heartbreaking and shocking news has come out from Georgia, America. Here, just a few hours after tying the sacred knot of marriage, an Indian groom died tragically in a helicopter crash. The deceased youth has been identified as Dawe Fiji, who was originally from Kerala state of India and was working as a commercial pilot in America’s famous Delta Airlines. Just after the wedding, when the newlywed couple was flying for their honeymoon, their Robinson R-66 helicopter crashed. In this horrific accident, Dawe Fiji and the chief pilot of the helicopter died on the spot, while Dawe’s wife miraculously survived safely.
Claim Fiji’s father George told with teary eyes that his son was very excited and happy about his marriage. Dawe and his wife Jessani met in a church. Both were in a relationship with each other for the last 10 years and after a long wait, both of them got married with great pomp and show. Around 400 guests were invited to this royal wedding, who blessed the couple for a happy married life. But no one knew that the happiness of marriage would turn into everlasting sorrow within a few hours.
Immediately after the completion of the wedding rituals, the newlyweds boarded a Robinson R-66 helicopter for their onward journey. They had to reach DeKalb-Peachtree Airport, from where they were going to board a flight to their dream honeymoon destination. But shortly after takeoff, the helicopter lost control and crashed in a dense forest area of Georgia before reaching the airport. The accident was so severe that the helicopter was blown to pieces.
According to Dawa’s father George, after the crash, due to the dense forest, the rescue team had to struggle a lot to find the exact location of the helicopter and a lot of time was wasted. During this time, badly injured Jesani, who is a nurse by profession, kept fighting for life and death amidst the debris of the helicopter for about 6 hours. Jessini, who was admitted to the hospital, told crying that when she regained consciousness, she saw that her husband Dawe was lying unconscious on her chest and his body was completely cold. Jesni realized at that very moment that her life partner was no more in this world. At present, Jesse has been admitted to a hospital in Atlanta, where he is undergoing treatment. US aviation agencies are investigating the cause of the accident.
