Said- Had the Prime Minister cared about 18.5 lakh CBSE students, Dharmendra Pradhan would have been removed long ago.
New Delhi. Following the transfer of the chairman and secretary of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), former Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday said it was an attempt to cover up the matter as officials were removed and Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan was spared. He also said that the Education Minister should be dismissed and an independent judicial inquiry should be conducted. “CBSE Chairman transferred, CBSE Secretary transferred, one-member “investigation” committee formed. And the real responsible, Dharmendra Pradhan safe,” Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi posted on Twitter.
He alleged that the officials were removed and the minister was saved. He said that this is not accountability, rather it is an attempt to cover up the matter.
Rahul Gandhi said, “Our demand remains the same even today that the Education Minister should be dismissed and an independent judicial inquiry should be conducted. These demands are not just a month-old internal file of the Modi government which should be forgotten.” He says that if the Prime Minister had cared about 18.5 lakh CBSE students, Dharmendra Pradhan would have been removed long ago.
