First roast semolina in a kadai until light golden and keep aside. Then heat oil or ghee in a pan and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, curry leaves and green chillies. When the batter is ready, add onion and saute until pink. After this, add carrots, peas, capsicum and tomatoes and let the vegetables cook for a while. Now add water and salt to it and let the mixture boil. After boiling the water, slowly add the roasted semolina and keep stirring continuously so that there are no lumps.
