Everton are reportedly accelerating their efforts to sign PSV Eindhoven’s promising winger Esmir Bajraktarevic.

Manager David Moyes is believed to be keen on adding fresh attacking options to Everton’s frontline during the upcoming summer transfer window.

As per a report from Bosnia and Herzegovina’s outlet SportSport.ba, the Merseyside club have set their sights on the 21-year-old Bosnian international following his impressive progress in the Eredivisie and on the international scene.

Bajraktarevic, who moved from Major League Soccer side New England Revolution to PSV in early 2025, has demonstrated glimpses of his quality in the Netherlands while playing for the reigning three-time Eredivisie champions.

During the ongoing 2025/26 season, the 21-year-old left-footed attacker has emerged as a versatile offensive presence, contributing five goals and two assists across all competitions.

His performances from the right flank have reportedly impressed Everton’s scouting team, who are said to have been monitoring him closely throughout Bosnia’s recent World Cup qualification campaign.

Everton’s new home ground, the Hill Dickinson Stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock, features cutting-edge premium facilities. The exclusive packages for the 2025/26 season are set to provide exceptional pitch views and seamless access between seating areas and lounges, offering a luxurious matchday experience in line with the club’s motto, ‘Nothing but the best’.

Interest from the Hill Dickinson Stadium hierarchy comes as Everton continue to assess potential reinforcements for their wide attacking roles.

Alongside targets such as Harry Wilson, Bajraktarevic is viewed as a younger, high-upside alternative who could work effectively alongside fellow forward Thierno Barry.

However, securing the Bosnian winger’s signature is unlikely to be inexpensive. Having committed his future to PSV with a contract running until 2029, the Dutch champions are under no financial pressure to part ways with him.

According to Transfermarkt, Bajraktarevic currently holds a market valuation of €5 million (£4.35 million), though that figure could rise substantially if he enjoys a strong showing at the 2026 World Cup. The US-born winger famously netted the decisive penalty in Bosnia’s play-off shootout victory over Italy in March, securing their spot at the global tournament.

For Everton, landing Bajraktarevic would reflect a calculated approach to squad development as the club aims to build a team capable of challenging for European qualification in the next campaign.
