SRIPOKU.COM - Ade Juansyah Bolang, the Coordinator of Sriwijaya Mania, has placed his bet on the Portugal national team to shine at the 2026 World Cup.

"Personally, I’m backing Portugal," said Ade Juansyah Bolang in an interview with Sripoku.com on Thursday (4 June 2026).

The Portuguese national team’s star, Cristiano Ronaldo, is expected to have his “last dance” or final appearance at the 2026 World Cup.

"The reason might be that with this being Cristiano Ronaldo’s last World Cup, it could motivate the senior players to give him the perfect farewell gift — winning the championship," explained the loyal supporter of Sriwijaya FC.

Since making his World Cup debut in 2006, Ronaldo has consistently played a crucial role in Portugal’s journey through the world’s most prestigious football tournament.

With the possibility of Ronaldo’s final World Cup appearance, Portugal is once again being touted as one of the leading contenders for the 2026 title.

The 41-year-old forward has been recalled by coach Roberto Martínez to strengthen the Portuguese national squad.

If selected to play, Ronaldo will make his sixth World Cup appearance — a remarkable milestone in his illustrious career.

The team under Roberto Martínez is considered to have a well-balanced and complete squad across all positions.

In the 2026 World Cup, Portugal is drawn in Group K alongside Colombia, Uzbekistan, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

The tournament will take place across the United States, Canada, and Mexico from 11 June to 19 July.

"With the current squad, filled with players from top leagues and championship-winning teams, I truly believe Portugal can win the 2026 World Cup. Without a doubt, my pick is Portugal," concluded Ade Juansyah Bolang.
