AIIMS Guwahati Vacancy: AIIMS Guwahati has announced recruitment for the year 2026 for the positions of Senior Resident (Non-Academic) and Senior Demonstrator. Under this recruitment drive, eligible candidates will be appointed to a total of 129 posts. The application process for these positions is currently underway and will continue online until June 15, 2026.

Candidates holding an MD/MS/DNB or an equivalent postgraduate medical degree are eligible to apply. For non-medical positions, candidates holding an M.Sc. or Ph.D. degree are also eligible.

Who Can Apply?
Medical Candidates: Must possess an MD/MS/DNB or an equivalent postgraduate medical degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized university/institute, as applicable under the rules of the Residency Scheme.

Dental Candidates: Must possess an MDS degree in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery from a recognized university/institute; all rules of the Residency Scheme shall apply.
Non-Medical Candidates: Must possess M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in subjects such as Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, and Pharmacology.

Age Limit: As of the last date for online application submission, the maximum age of the candidate must not exceed 45 years.

What is the Application Fee?
The application fee for these positions has been prescribed according to different categories. General (UR) and OBC candidates are required to pay ₹1,000 plus transaction charges (which are non-refundable), while the fee for candidates belonging to the SC, ST, and EWS categories is set at ₹500 plus transaction charges.

How Will Selection Be Conducted?
Document Verification: Selected candidates will be required to appear in person with all their original documents. If all documents are found to be in order, an Appointment Letter (Joining Letter) will be issued to them.

Waiting List: A Waiting List will be prepared for each category. If, for any reason, a selected candidate fails to join, the next eligible candidates from this list will be allowed to fill the vacancy.

Result Announcement: The final results will be published on the official website of AIIMS Guwahati: aiimsguwahati.ac.in.
