New Delhi/Surat: Political and administrative movements have once again intensified from Delhi to Gujarat to change the economic and coastal boundaries of the country. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going on a very important tour of Gujarat and Daman on Friday, i.e. 5th June. During this tour, PM Modi is going to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of huge development projects worth about ₹22,000 crore. This news released by the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) has not only created a stir in the infrastructure sector, but has also created curiosity in the strategic corridors.

Surat is going to be the first and biggest center of this grand tour. In Surat alone, the Prime Minister will hand over unprecedented projects worth ₹18,800 crore to the country. But the most eye-catching project is the 8-lane access-controlled Vadodara-Mumbai Expressway. The main packages of this expressway will be dedicated to the nation. The secret behind this high-speed corridor is not just to increase the speed of vehicles, but to connect the two largest economic centers of the country with a network that will change the entire picture of trade in the times to come. The direction in which this mega project will take India's economic growth will soon be heard.

Right after this mega show in Surat, PM Modi is going to lay the foundation of a project which is very shocking from both social and strategic point of view. The foundation stone will be laid to convert some very important parts of National Highway-56 (NH-56) into four-lane. The suspense is that this is not just a road widening plan, but this project will directly create a network of connectivity in the neglected tribal areas. Along with this, it will make the way to reach the world's tallest statue 'Statue of Unity' very easy and fast. Only time will tell what is the next big step of the government behind this unique combination of tourism and tribal development.

After bringing the storm of development in Surat, the Prime Minister's next stop will be Daman. Various development projects worth about ₹2,970 crore will be inaugurated and foundation stones laid in Daman. But the thing that is most talked about in this entire coastal area is the 'NaMo Airport' which has been completed in Daman. PM Modi will inaugurate the modern terminal building of this new airport. Experts are keeping an eye on what the development of an airport of this scale would mean for tourism and security in the Union Territory.

The biggest and shocking suspense in this entire press release is hidden at the very end. From the land of Daman, Prime Minister Modi will lay the foundation stone of huge port projects worth ₹885 crore for the Union Territory of Lakshadweep. Starting such a big port project in Lakshadweep, which has been very strategically sensitive in recent times, is a sign of increasing India's power manifold in the Arabian Sea.
After this information released by PIB Delhi on June 4, now everyone's eyes are on this grand event to be held on Friday. Are these just development projects or a new maze to secure India's coastal and economic borders? The answer to this will become clear only with PM Modi's speech on Friday.
