Turkish powerhouse Galatasaray have emerged as the only club to have made a formal offer for Rafael Leao, though the AC Milan forward is still holding out hope for a Premier League move, preferably to Arsenal or Manchester United, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Portugal international is widely expected to leave AC Milan this summer and has made joining a Premier League side his top priority.

As reported by Gazzetta dello Sport, Leao was once again proposed to Arsenal in recent weeks. However, despite the Gunners seeking to strengthen their options on the left wing, talks with the 26-year-old’s representatives have not advanced as of now.

Just a few days ago, Leao publicly confirmed his intention to leave Milan during the upcoming summer transfer window.

In a previous appearance on the Cernucci podcast, Leao expressed his admiration for Manchester United, revealing that his “idol” Cristiano Ronaldo had always made him follow the Red Devils closely. However, he also admitted that Arsenal have caught his attention in recent seasons.

Gazzetta further reports that while Leao’s release clause stands at €175 million, AC Milan would be willing to part ways with the winger for around €50 million. Despite that, the only concrete bid on the table so far has come from Galatasaray.

According to the same source, the Turkish side have offered Leao a contract worth €10 million per year. Nevertheless, the Portuguese forward is not convinced about a move to the Turkish Super Lig and intends to wait for potential offers from other clubs, particularly from the Premier League.
