Love is in the air for many Bollywood celebrities. Some openly profess their love and indulge in PDA (public displays of affection), while others prefer to play hide-and-seek and keep their relationships private until things become permanent.

It seems actors Ibrahim Ali Khan and Palak Tiwari have decided to keep their relationship under wraps until they finally get married. But in Bollywood, you can run and hide, yet you can’t escape being papped. With paparazzi stationed across the city, it’s nearly impossible for celebrities to avoid being photographed.

Although Ibrahim and Palak try their best to keep their relationship away from the spotlight, they can’t escape the cameras. On Wednesday, Ibrahim and Palak decided to catch up for a romantic movie date. Later that night, the alleged couple arrived at a theatre while trying to avoid attention, but were caught on camera by paparazzi.

In the clip, Ibrahim was seen talking on the phone when paparazzi asked him to pose. He smartly ignored them. However, upon noticing the photographers, he gestured to Palak to stay inside and appeared to push her back, seemingly in a bid to avoid being spotted together by the paparazzi.

As the video caught everyone’s attention online, netizens slammed Ibrahim for pushing Palak and claimed there was no need for such behaviour since everyone already knows about their rumoured relationship. Some even suggested that their PR teams tip off the paparazzi and then stage such hiding-and-seeking drama to gain attention.

However, adding to the chaos, Orry jumped into the conversation and took a dig at the incident.

“The way he pushed her to protect himself from being seen with her,” Orry wrote, adding fuel to the ongoing hate that Ibrahim is already receiving.

One social media user wrote, “Why is he hiding her????”

Another commented, “If he cannot respect her in front of the media, he should not push her like this.”

Orry- Sara-Ibrahim and Palak: The unending e-lafda

Orry has a dark past with Ibrahim; for the unversed, he had a fallout with Ibrahim and his sister, Sara Ali Khan. Once considered close friends, Orry and the Khan siblings have reportedly drifted apart. The rift first sparked speculation after Orry shared and later deleted a reel that was seemingly aimed at Sara, her mother Amrita Singh, and Palak Tiwari. Sara and Ibrahim have also unfollowed him on Instagram.

Speaking to Hindustan Times earlier, Orry addressed the strained relationship, saying, “I unfollowed Sara a while ago, and I haven’t followed Ibrahim in years. Pretending to be friends with Sara means pretending to be okay with the trauma her mother put me through, and I just don’t think I can do that anymore.”

He also claimed that reconciliation would only be possible if Amrita Singh apologised.

Ibrahim and Palak’s secret love story

Dating rumours surrounding Ibrahim and Palak first surfaced in December 2022 after they were spotted together in Mumbai. Later, a source told Hindustan Times that they had been in a relationship for quite some time but “don’t want the attention on their personal life.”

“Ibrahim and Palak have found a happy place with each other and are dating. They like to spend time together. However, they want to keep their private lives out of the public glare,” the source claimed.

Last year, while speaking to Filmfare, Ibrahim addressed the dating rumours and clarified whether they were more than just friends. Palak is the daughter of Shweta Tiwari and Raja Chaudhary, while Ibrahim is the son of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh.

When Ibrahim was asked if he could “talk about a certain Miss Palak Tiwari,” he appeared cautious about addressing the topic or going into too much detail. He replied, “She’s a good friend. Yeah, she’s sweet. That’s all.”

Ibrahim and Palak have been spotted together numerous times in public, and it was even rumoured that they vacationed together in the Maldives and Goa. Palak has also maintained in interviews that they are just friends.

Palak made her acting debut with Salman Khan’s Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan and was most recently seen in the web show Lukkhe. Ibrahim made his acting debut with Shauna Gautam’s romantic comedy Nadaaniyan. He was also seen in Sarzameen, which featured Kajol and Prithviraj Sukumaran.
