AC With Fan Cooling Tricks: During the summer season, everyone is troubled by the scorching sun and heat. To get relief, everything like AC, fan and cooler is being used. AC is such a help which maintains the temperature of 10-12 degrees inside the room even when the temperature is 50 degrees outside.

Now many people also run a fan along with AC. They believe that due to this the AC air circulates in the entire room. On the other hand, many people believe that it increases cooling. Let us tell you that using AC and fan together properly not only cools the room quickly, but it can also save electricity. For this, it is important to take care of the correct temperature and fan speed.

How do fan and AC work together?

When you turn on the air conditioner in the room, its job is to cool the air in the room. Cold air, being heavy, often remains towards the floor. Due to this, air is not able to reach other parts of the room. In such a situation, the ceiling fan helps in circulating the air throughout the room. Running the fan creates a wind chill effect in the room, due to which the AC air starts getting distributed evenly in the entire room. This reduces the temperature of the room and there is no need to reduce the temperature of the AC too much.

What should be the fan speed and AC temperature?

The temperature of AC should be between 24 to 26 degrees. It is also considered good from health point of view. If the temperature of AC is kept very low and the fan is running at high speed, then some people may feel more cold. This may increase electricity consumption and put additional burden on the pocket. For this reason, it is better to keep the fan speed medium as per requirement.

While running the AC, the doors and windows of the room should be kept closed so that cold air cannot come out. If hot air keeps coming into the room, the AC will take more time and effort to cool the room. This will directly affect the AC compressor.

Electricity will also be saved

Let us tell you that by running a fan along with AC, the monthly electricity bill can be reduced by 15 to 20 percent. If you run the fan on slow or medium speed along with the AC, you will get the same comfort even at 24 degrees Celsius. By increasing the temperature of AC by one degree, 3-5 percent electricity is consumed.
