Students who appeared for the UP Board exams this year can apply for these exams starting June 6. The deadline for applications is June 27. **Class 10: Compartment Exam Allowed in One Subject**
Students who appeared for the UP Board Class 10 exam in 2026 can take the compartment exam for only one subject. For instance, if a student has failed in two subjects, they are permitted to take the compartment exam for only one of them.

**Class 12: Compartment Exam Allowed in One Subject**
Similarly, students who appeared for the UP Board Class 12 exam in 2026 can take the compartment exam for only one subject. The Board stated that students from the Arts, Science, and Commerce streams can take the compartment or improvement exam for any single subject. Similarly, only students who have failed in one of the prescribed subjects under Agriculture (Part 1 and Part 2) or in one of the trade subjects under the vocational stream are eligible to appear for the exam.
