The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has launched the application portal for re-evaluation as of June 2, attracting a large number of students to apply. Alongside this, the Board released two crucial updates: one concerning the necessity of Aadhaar card information and another detailing the application process through a video tutorial. This tutorial guides students on how to verify their marks, even if they lack an Aadhaar card.

Eligibility for Re-Evaluation

As per the CBSE tutorial, only those students who have received photocopies of their evaluated answer sheets can apply for verification or re-evaluation. This option is available for students who believe their marks are lower than expected or suspect errors in the evaluation.

Alternative for Students Without Aadhaar

What should a student do if they do not have an Aadhaar card?

While Aadhaar card details are necessary for logging into the CBSE verification and re-evaluation portal, the Board has made provisions for students without their own Aadhaar cards. They can utilize the Aadhaar information of parents, relatives, or guardians. It is important that the name, date of birth, and gender entered during verification match those on the Aadhaar card being used.

Steps to Apply for Marks Verification

How to apply for marks verification?

1. Visit the official CBSE website (cbse.gov.in) or the post-result portal (postresult.cbseit.in/pvr).
