UPESSC Lecturer Interview 2026: There is significant news for candidates awaiting Lecturer recruitment in Uttar Pradesh. The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) has released the complete interview schedule for Lecturer posts across 18 subjects. According to the schedule issued by the Commission, the interview process will commence on June 15 and continue until June 27, 2026. Interviews will be conducted over a total of 11 working days. The Commission recently declared the written examination results, and successful candidates are now being called for interviews.

**Recruitment for 624 Posts**
This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 624 vacancies for Lecturer positions across various subjects. A total of 2,253 candidates who qualified in the written examination have been selected for the interview stage. Appointments will be made for Lecturer posts in subjects including Physics, Biology, Home Science, History, Education, English, Agriculture, Commerce, Sociology, Civics, Mathematics, Economics, Sanskrit, Psychology, Chemistry, Geography, Art, and Hindi.

**Over 1.92 Lakh Candidates Took the Exam**
The written examination for the Lecturer recruitment was held on May 9 and 10, 2026. A total of 1,92,934 candidates appeared for the exam. The Commission declared the results late in the evening on June 2, 2026. Following the declaration of results, the next phase of the recruitment process—the interview—is now commencing.

**Interview Letters Available for Download from June 5**
The Commission has announced that candidates declared successful for the interview will be able to download their interview letters starting June 5, 2026. To do so, they must log in via the Commission's official website. Additionally, interview notifications will be sent to candidates via SMS to their registered mobile numbers and via email.

**Interviews for These Subjects Begin on June 15**
The first day of interviews will be June 15. On this day, interviews will be conducted for candidates in the subjects of Commerce, Art, Psychology, Agriculture, and Home Science. On the following day, June 16, candidates for Physics and History will appear for interviews. Candidates for Chemistry and Sociology have been called for June 17, while interviews for Civics and Mathematics candidates will take place on June 18.

**Interviews for these subjects on June 19 and 20**
Interviews for Biology candidates will be held on June 19. Subsequently, interviews for Sanskrit candidates will be conducted on June 20.

**Holiday on June 21**
According to the Commission's schedule, no interviews will be held on June 21 as it is a Sunday; it will be a holiday. Following the holiday, interviews for Geography and Education candidates will be held on June 22. Economics candidates will appear for interviews on June 23. Interviews for English candidates will take place on June 24. Candidates for both English and Hindi have been called for June 25. Finally, interviews for the remaining Hindi candidates will be conducted on June 27.

**Subject-wise and category-wise interviews**
The Commission has clarified that the interview process will be conducted on a subject-wise and category-wise basis. All candidates must report to the interview venue with the required documents at the scheduled date and time.
