If you are a music lover and use the Amazon Music streaming platform, this news is important for you. Amazon has launched an 'Unlimited' plan for its users. With this plan, users can listen to music without any advertisements. Significant changes have also been made for those who were previously listening to ad-free music via their Amazon Prime membership. Let’s take a closer look...

What does the Amazon Music Unlimited plan offer?
The Amazon Music Unlimited plan provides users with a premium music streaming service. Previously available in several countries, it has now been launched in India. This service offers access to over 100 million songs and podcasts, all completely ad-free. Additionally, you can download songs for offline listening and enjoy high-quality audio. It also supports HD, Ultra HD, and Spatial Audio (Dolby Atmos), enhancing the overall listening experience.

How much does the plan cost?
In India, the new Amazon Music Unlimited plan is priced at ₹199 per month for non-Prime users. Meanwhile, existing Amazon Prime members can purchase the Unlimited plan for an additional ₹99 per month on top of their current subscription.

Changes effective from July 2nd
Changes are also in store for Amazon Prime users. Currently, Prime members can use Amazon Music without any extra cost or additional plans. However, starting July 2nd, Prime members will also encounter limited advertisements while listening to music on the platform.

Free service for an initial period
Amazon is offering a free trial for users to experience the new service. Prime members can use it for free for six months, while non-Prime users get a three-month free trial, after which the subscription fee will apply.
