Sudden rain in the midst of intense heat. And with that, the arrival of new guests in the garden! As a guest, snakes in the garden do not live in anyone’s company. However, if the householder’s foot falls on it by mistake, it can be a terrible disaster. And if that snake is poisonous, then there is a danger of loss of life of the householder.
There are a number of reasons why sappers choose a particular house to build a base. Maybe the householder has made an environment suitable for snakes.
1. Is the garden overgrown with tall grass due to prolonged neglect? In that case, making a snake den is very simple. Many people have fruit and flower trees in their gardens in addition to grass. If not pruned in time, the garden can be covered with bushes. If you want to stop snakes from coming and going in the garden, then trim the trees at regular intervals, cut the grass and shorten the days.
2. The snakes keep looking everywhere to hide. If old things like boxes are left on one side of the garden or on the balcony, it is easy for snakes to hide there. Keeping the house balcony and garden clean regularly also makes it look good. Insects cannot reproduce.
3. Pieces of fish attract snakes! Many people feed their pet dogs and cats on their balcony or garden. The snakes come there to eat the leftovers after they eat. Therefore, the area must be cleaned after feeding the pets.
4. Care should also be taken when watering garden plants. Excess water makes the soil muddy and creates a soggy environment. Snakes come easily in such an environment.

Besides cleaning the garden, there are several home tricks to keep snakes away. For example, by mixing equal amounts of water and vinegar, it can be sprayed around. If vinegar is not available, lemon juice mixed with water gives similar results. Also, if you plant plants like marigold, lemongrass, citronella etc., the smell of these will keep snakes away.
It is true that many people fear snakes and try to kill them, but we cannot forget that snakes are a very important part of nature. However, people’s fears are not unfounded. So take care of your home and garden while you have time.
