Dhruv Jurel has been appointed captain of the team for this two-match series. Whereas Devdutt Padikkal has been given the responsibility of vice-captain. Those players who have performed brilliantly in domestic cricket in recent times have been selected in the Indian team for the Sri Lanka tour.
Apart from Dhruv Jurel and Devdutt Padikkal, Sai Sudarshan, Harsh Dubey and Gurnoor Brar have also been included in the India A team for the Sri Lanka tour. Zeeshan Ansari, Nabi, Mokhade, Rashid and Ayush Pandey are the names who have been included in the India A team for the first time.
