UP Petrol Diesel Price 6 June: The prices of petrol and diesel have increased four times since last month. Last week itself, a hike of around ₹2.6 and ₹2.7 per liter was announced. However, except for a minor difference of a few paisa, there was no significant change in the prices on June 6. Due to the ongoing tension in the Middle East, global oil prices have increased, which has had a significant impact on oil marketing companies. As a result, prices have increased by ₹7.5–8 since US-Iran tensions escalated.
The price of petrol in Delhi is ₹ 102.12 per liter while diesel is being sold at ₹ 95.20 per liter. Amid this crisis, government oil companies are incurring a daily loss of ₹1,600–1,700 crore. This figure has exceeded ₹ 1 lakh crore in the last 10 weeks. Indian customers are once again facing a huge increase in fuel prices. In many cities, petrol prices are reaching close to ₹ 114 per liter, which clearly shows the increasing difference in fuel prices in different states.
